Origos Hanko Menu is a three or four course meal based on the ingredients nearby. The idea is to introduce local producers products and to lift up seasonal items as they are: pure, authentic and natural.
As a starter can be for example a creamy soup of Jerusalem artichokes from our neighbors back yard or a pumpkin soup from the local farmers pumpkins. Soups are served with house baked bread.
As a main course we serve for example a dish of local wild duck (several different varieties all hunted by a local hunter) or a dish of Boviks ecological lamb prepared in different ways. As a side order dishes are served with local mushrooms as crey chanterelles, ceps or morels, depending on the season. Of course we try to implement also local vegetables into the portions according to availability.
As a dessert we serve dishes made of home made pies, pastries and cakes or cream puddings flavored with local berries like blueberries or local vegetables like rhubarb etc. again according to the season.
As a fourth dish before the dessert You can choose to enjoy some local cheeses from Fiskars or Kolattu from Somero. Theese cheeses are hand made and served with our own berry or fruit jam

Archipelago Buffet is served again daily 13.04-29.09.18 between 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Origos archipelago buffet is concentrated in local ingredients and traditional Finnish buffet alternatives.
Well known buffet is full of delicacies from the archipelago. It includes c. 30 different dishes of cold fish, vegetable and meat. We serve wide range of Baltic herrings from the local fisherman Tage Gustafsson, house made slightly salted salmon with lemon and sherry flavors, house made warm smoked salmon, different salads, patés, lamb and local prosciutto ham to name the few items on the buffet.
With the buffet is served cooked potatoes with dill and our own dark archipelago bread among other breads.
